Italian Gulls
- Yes, there are gulls in Italy. This site proves it! You'll find a good selection of pictures, plus identifications of different gull species.
Who's Who - Herring Gull
- The Canadian Wildlife Service's page on the herring gull, with many facts, along with pictures and video. Nice site!
The Many Gulls of Cape Cod
- A page describing the many gulls which can be found in and around the Cape Cod area.
Misidentification
- A page explaining how easy it is to mistake a western gull for a herring gull.
Scandinavian Herring Gulls wintering in Britain
- This is a study of seagull migration in Europe. Although scholarly in scope, it's really not that dry, and you'll probably come away from it feeling pretty good.
